Exciting outdoor adventures in the Zugspitz Arena (Berwang, Tyrol)

Berwang is the highest municipality in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. We have developed three lovely trails for you there. Each adventure has its own route, addresses a different target group and takes you on an exciting story. All tours start at the tourist information centre in Berwang, where you can also pick up your rucksack with all the materials.

Tour 1 (family adventure from 7 years):
Discover the bear secret: your adventure awaits!

Ready for an outdoor experience that packs a punch? Immerse yourself in the animal world of Berwang and uncover the well-kept bear secret! Each task you solve brings you closer to the truth - but beware, nature has its own rules. Explore the wonderful nature in and around Berwang and learn about the local plants, alpine herbs and many an animal inhabitant of the forest and meadows while having fun solving puzzles.
Grab your friends and make your way through the Zugspitz Arena. Excitement, puzzle fun and unforgettable moments guaranteed!

Tour 2 (adventure from 14 years):

The Berwang secret: Your team, your mission!

Ready for the challenge of your life? Travel back to 2009 and slip into the role of a special unit of the Berwang mountain rescue service. You and your new team not only have to get to know each other, but also prove that you can go through thick and thin together.

Equipped with an old radio and a few mysterious objects, you follow the instructions of the local centre manager. But what begins as a simple team exercise quickly turns into a nerve-wracking race against time. Suddenly the fate of Berwang and its inhabitants is at stake - and only you can save it!

The story:

You are travelling to 2009, the year in which US Airways Flight 1549 crashed on the Hudson River, Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system was released and Barack Obama began his first term as US President. The technology is not the same as it is today.

In our escape game, you slip into the role of a special unit of the Berwang mountain rescue service. You are part of a newly assembled team, and as is the case, the first problems arise as you get to know each other. Problems that could easily be avoided if communication worked better.

The local group leader quickly recognises this and sends you on a joint mission to strengthen your team spirit and highlight your personal strengths. Equipped with an old radio and a few other very special items, you have to follow his instructions and master his tasks together. However, the supposedly simple mission soon takes an unexpected turn and develops into a race against time. The existence of many people, perhaps even the entire village of Berwang, is at stake! Team spirit and a gift for deduction are required. Do you feel up to the task?
