The story

It is July and already very hot for this time of year. Lucius Julius S., is a successful businessman from Augusta Raurica and the owner of a stately country estate. The air in the big city over the last few weeks has been oppressively humid, the smells and the noise of Augusta Raurica have been wearing on Lucius' nerves. He is delighted to finally be at his country estate at the foot of Abnoba Mons, to indulge in leisure and to throw a party for his friends and a few hand-picked important business partners.
He meticulously studies all the processes of the last few weeks, checks line by line on the wax chart. Again and again he comes across a gap, a missing amount of income, from a delivery shortly after the turn of the year. It was a sale of larger quantities of silver to Augusta Raurica.

Could it be that the numbers listed do not match the quantity transported? He almost can't believe it, but the more he checks everything, the more he is sure that he has been cheated!

The Roman Mystery around the Villa urbana takes place in the historic, Mediterranean ambience of the Roman archaeological site.
